The 2016 National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) OPTECH Conference & Exposition is right around the corner, and suffice it to say, it’s going to be tough to top 2015! Last year was quite the year for Updater; we left San Diego having won what we like to refer to as the Shark Tank of the multifamily industry: the coveted NMHC Launch Pad competition at OPTECH.

That said, a lot has happened at Updater since our big win. In just the last year, we’ve:

• Expanded our integrations platform to include over 10 new integrations, including Entrata, MRI, PropertyBoss, and more. This allows us to onboard new property management clients quickly and easily.
• Won the American Business Award for “Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year” for the second straight year!
• Signed some truly incredible new clients.
• Expanded our team to include a department that focuses specifically on property-level engagement and support.
• Built a self-service onboarding and analytics dashboard that streamlines client onboarding and provides greater insight into resident engagement metrics and ROI tracking and reporting.
• Built a client Resource Center featuring training materials (e.g., videos, eBooks, webinars, presentation slides, and more), in addition to marketing collateral (e.g., press and social media templates) — to help clients easily access all of our tools.
• Expanded service to over one million units at communities all over the country — and we’re still growing!

Don’t miss us at this year’s Launch Pad competition

No, we won’t be competing, but our very own Ash Bell, VP & Executive Director of Property Management at Updater, will provide a quick update (ha!) on what the Updater Team has been working on since winning Launch Pad last November. He’ll then introduce this year’s 4 worthy competition finalists. This must-see session showcases some of the most innovative businesses in the multifamily industry and takes place at OPTECH on Tuesday, November 15th, at 4pm. Don’t miss it!
