Updater Hires Three Senior Real Estate Executives

New York, NY – November 13, 2014 – Updater, the leading web application for Americans who are moving, today announced that it has enhanced its real estate sales team by adding three seasoned real estate technology professionals. Samantha Tino, former Vice President of Sales at RealtyTrac and Lone Wolf Real Estate Technologies, has joined the company as Vice President of Real Estate Sales. Greg Hicks and Scott Marcelle, both former perennial sales leaders and Enterprise National Account Executives at Market Leader, a division of Trulia, have been named Directors of Business Development.

Together, Samantha, Greg and Scott have over 35 years combined real estate sales experience. The team will focus on bringing relocation solutions to top residential real estate brokerages, teams and agents. They will also work to secure technology integrations with industry leaders, tapping into their expansive network of relationships built over decades of working in the real estate industry.

David Greenberg, Founder and CEO, said, “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Samantha, Greg and Scott to Updater. We look forward to leveraging their substantial industry experience and technical expertise.”

Samantha Tino joined Updater after holding positions as the Vice President of Sales at both RealtyTrac and Lone Wolf Real Estate Technologies, where she was responsible for growing sales within the largest real estate brokerages across the country. Samantha played a key role on the senior management teams, contributing to the overall corporate business development and sales strategies.

Greg Hicks spent over 10 years at Market Leader, introducing brokerages to an industry favorite CRM platform. Greg consistently reached over 170% of sales goals, closed the largest independent Broker/Owner deal in company history and landed in the top 3 in revenue for the company four years in a row.

With 13 years of experience at Market Leader under his belt, Scott joins Updater with accolades including five rankings in the top 3 in annual revenue category and has been named Account Executive of the Year twice. In his sales leadership and management roles, Scott reliably outperformed his own sales goals, worked on large initiatives in the mortgage space, and often represented Market Leader at national, state and regional events.
