You'll need to contact the  county treasurer's office to schedule a vehicle examination. Once you have gotten your vehicle examined, you can go to your local county treasurer's office to obtain your registration.

  • Proof of insurance
  • Original out-of-state title
  • The pink copy of the Motor Vehicle Examination (MVE-1) form

You need to register your vehicle within 90 days of becoming a Kansas resident.
