Love Entrepreneurship? Check us out at NewCo!

We’re excited to announce that Updater’s been chosen as a host company in the NewCo Festival for the second year in a row! In case you’re not familiar, NewCo allows anyone to catch an up-close glimpse of what it’s like to work at some of the most driven, high-growth companies across the world.

This year, we’re hosting a conversation titled, What It's Like to Start from Scratch, with our Founder & CEO, David Greenberg. David will share his experiences building Updater from the ground up and dish on a few challenges he’s experienced along the way – hiring the right people, making tough decisions, and discovering what it means to be an entrepreneur. Our session takes place on Thursday, May 14th at 11:30 AM, so make sure to mark your calendars - tickets go fast! We promise we’ll offer good humor and our fair share of snacks.

This year, we’re encouraging anyone who has a remote interest in entrepreneurship to register for our session or any of the other wonderful NewCo sessions coming up this May. NewCo’s truly an invaluable experience, in which you’ll hear directly from companies that have set aggressive goals, made truly impressive accomplishments to their respective industries, and overcome major obstacles along the way. It’s a great way to understand first hand some of the real business challenges that companies face every day.

In particular, we’re excited about this year’s line up. Our friends over at Casper are already preparing for what’s sure to be an entertaining conversation on Branding and Humor, while Greenhouse is giving an illuminating talk on How to Build a Hyper-Growth SaaS Organization. We’re also looking forward to hearing from a few of the host companies we love - Homepolish, Lover.ly, Handy, Salesforce, NY Times, Justworks, Sailthru, CityHarvest, The Verge and more.

So, what are you waiting for? Register now!
